Patapon

“Pata pata pata pon!” The main-anthem of the cute and addictive rhythm-game called Patapon will stay in your mind long after you have played it.
Developed by Pyramid/Japan Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) this video game, playable on a Playstation portable console, appeared for the first time in 2008.
The story behind the cartoonish music-game is narrated fast: The sacred Patapon – tribe, a group of little, two dimensional creatures looking like walking eyes with arms and legs, was defeated by the evil Zigoton Empire. To take back their land the Patapon need a leader to guide and comment them. That is the challenge of the player: As the god of the Patapon-tribe he needs to lead them through different battlefields and give them several orders to march, attack, defend and other actions by pressing the face buttons on the PSP. Than your Patapon warriors will move and sing the rhythm. Like the good old Captain- Jack- song they follow your order … But they just do it after you pressed the correct bottons in order to the rhythm – sound of the drum!
So this game is about a feeling for rhythm and the capability to wake up out of your Patapon – trance just before the request to move is changing into the request to attack!Be aware…its not “Pata Pata Pata Pon” anymore…give your tribal warriors a “Pon Pon Pata Pon” to attack terrifying castles and huge dragons on their long way to recapture their homeland.
